MONSTEROUS POWERS

Lagos, Nigeria. Photo taken by artist and illustrator Karo Akpokiere (from Nigeria). Their work is really cool, check out the website!

I like to think the monster was 'playing superhero' and crashed legs first into the building, accidentally firing his laser eyes on impact...something like that.

Thought I'd add an extra sprinkle of fun to this one. Thanks for the photo!

Hide and Seek

Sydney, Australia. An Abandoned WWII coastal defence battery at Malabar.

Another from the collaboration with Luke Martinelli (from Sydney).

I think this photo is an incredible shot. I usually know exactly what I want to do with an image when I look at it, when I looked at this my imagination went crazy! So many different ideas went through my mind.

Big, massive thanks to Luke for the photos!

Monsters In Brooklyn

Brooklyn, New York, USA. Photos taken by Michael C. Maronna, the American actor and star of Home Alone 1 and 2 and Pete & Pete! IMDB Link

This is pretty incredible for me, I'm a bit of a film geek. Home Alone is one of the best family movies ever made in my opinion and Pete & Pete! ...the photos are awesome too!

I think this monster is thirsty.

Massive thanks to Mr Maronna!

Wish You Were Here...

Republic of Maldives. Photo taken by Kate Stenton (from Doncaster)

Kate suggested I doodled a monster chilling with a cocktail on her nice image, and I agreed. I added some little sandcastles and a sailboat too, because I could...I imagine having more limbs is a massive advantage at the beach :/

Spirited Fishing

Collaboration with photographer Benn Kafanke. Photo taken in Knaresborough, UK.

He's a happy doodle! I made him a bit transparent so he fit in the photo better, and to give him a ghostly vibe.

I'm doing a series with Benn Kafanke for his gallery.
