Orkney Island, Scotland
**EDIT***
This photo was taken from street view. I intended to do a tour of England using this method of getting photos, including user submitted photos also along the way when possible. This project was side-tracked for new ventures and I've not kept the blog up-to-date. I do occasionally post on the facebook page though. I'm very busy with paid illustration work and also running my new merchandise company.
I had a lot of fun doing this project when there was a lot of interest and photos were coming though on a daily basis. Thanks to everyone who sent in their images, for the moment in time this project is on hiatus.

One From the Vault
Roman Colosseum, Rome, Italy. Photo taken by Mark Braithwaite
To celebrate running the Project Photo Doodle website for 2 years I'm posting one of my favourites and a classic from my time doodling on photos. I've been doing it as a hobby since some time in 2007 and it took me until the start of 2011 to start this website and take my doodling more seriously! The rest is history!

A whole new project from me and an evolution on Project Photo Doodle. Using photographs as canvases to create illustrations that interact with the photo and cause a graffiti style illusion.
Here's the first few photos...

Harvey Nichols Exhibition
I've not been posting as much on here recently because I've doodled on photos for an exhibition at Harvey Nichols in Leeds. I posted some "Sneak Peeks", but wanted to save the rest for the actual exhibition. It is currently showing and there will be an event night for it on the 24th of October at 5:30pm-7:00pm.
Here's me on the Harvey Nichols website;

More doodling on the flashmob photos. A few people have said they miss the colourful and cute doodles, so here's a more old skool Photo Doodle. Thanks to the amazing photographing genius that is Rick Harrison for the photo...
I'm thinking this would make for an awesome new banner for the website :D

Thanks to Helen for this great shot of a busy Thailand street, check out her website for more of her photography.
A few people have asked me if I'm still doing Project Photo Doodle, and of course I am! I've just been busy with some other projects.
